SALT LAKE CITY: To Utah fans, the game will be remembered as a crucial game the Jazz let slip away. But in terms of basketball history, Wednesdays NBA finals match is certain to go down as one of Michael Jordan's most courageous performances. Despite a bad case of the flu, Jordan put on a gritty performance to propel the Bulls to a 90 to 88 victory over the Utah Jazz in game 5 of the NBA finals Wednesday night. The victory puts Chicago ahead in the best of seven series, 3 games to 2, with game 6 Friday in Chicago. Jordan, who appeared gaunt and exhausted from the opening tip, scored 21 in the first half and finished the game with 38 points, including the towering game-winning 3 pointer with 25 seconds left to play.
