End of Impotence?

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Dr. Ian Osterloh, a Britain-based researcher has in conjunction with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer developed a drug which he claims will restore full sexual function to impotent men. "The medication acts on a certain part of bio-chemistry of blood vessels so more blood flow can occur which enhances the erection," says TIME's Christine Gorman. "What's interesting is that the study didn't just ask men to report on the effectiveness of the drugs, but that the partners were also asked and that they to saw a significant improvement." In one study, of 42 men who had been impotent for at least three years, after 28 days of taking the pills, 92 percent of the men reported significant improved performance during the time they were taking the medication. The drug is in the final testing trials in the U.S. and Europe and could be ready for marketing next year.
