TEHRAN, IRAN: American Muslim Louis Farrakhan, visiting Iran for anniversary celebrations of its 1979 revolution, called for American Muslims to use their voices to force change in "the United States' arrogant policies" towards states like Iran, Libya, Iraq and Sudan. Farrakhan's visit to Iran was marked with a number of anti-American incidents. On Sunday at a rally, he praised the Ayatollah Khomeni and sat in a seat of honor next to Iranian President Hashemi Rafsanjani. On Monday, Farrakhan reportedly told Islamic theologians he believed America was "the great Satan", and on Tuesday he predicted that his great popularity would eventually cause him to be jailed, ending up in a cell next to bombing conspirator Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, where the two Islamic clerics would "read the Koran and encourage each other".
