INGLEWOOD, CA.: The faceoff between Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan Friday night, says TIME's Steve Wulf, was bound to be memorable: "It's no surprise that Magic has come back and played so well. He was a genius on the basketball court when he left, and he has been playing the whole time he left. That extra weight is all muscle. The Lakers are probably a better team when you match up each man, but with Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, the Bulls are just able to overwhelm other teams. I think that will happen tonight."
