The Los Angeles Times reports today that Robert Citron, the former treasurer of Orange County who steered it to financial ruin, consulted an astrologer and psychic for investment advice in the months before the county went bust. Citron was advised, accurately as it turns out, that December 1994 would be a bad month. The county declared bankruptcy on the 6th of that month. Perhaps he should have invested in Psychic Hotline.
