AIR CRASH BLACK BOX FOUND

Amid the mangled wreckage of American Airlines Flight 965, investigators have found the "black box," which contains information on the plane's operations before it crashed into the mountains of southwestern Colombia. Aviation officials are hoping the box will provide clues to why the Boeing 757 went down just four minutes from its destination in Cali. The Red Cross says that only four survivors were accounted for among the 164 people aboard the flight, including a father and his six-year-old daughter. Rescuers also found a dog that survived the crash. The small brown dog, which rescuers dubbed "Milagro," or Miracle, was found in an animal carrier believed to have been in the plane's baggage compartment. Wednesday night's crash is apparently the deadliest air disaster since a terrorist bomb exploded Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland seven years ago. BTW:
