Daikatana: A 'Heaven's Gate' for the PC

Think of the pressure of being one of the most influential game designers in the world. After creating Doom and Quake, John Romero was king, the man who could do no wrong and of whom it was expected no, demanded that he keep topping himself. It's hard to live like that, but Romero has finally found an out: With Daikatana he has created a game so bad that no one will ever expect anything of him again.

Let me be clear. I don't mean it's a disappointment considering the years it took and the expectations it raised, like "Waterworld"; I mean it's a remarkably bad game, one of the worst 3-D shooters ever made.
