Publishing magnate Malcolm ("Steve") Forbes Jr., an unreconstructed proponent of Reaganomics, plans to join the crowded race for the GOP presidential nomination on Friday. "I'm going to do it," he told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from his office in Bedminster, N.J. "The need is there."
