After the long holiday weekend, Wall Street stocks staged a bull run Tuesday, sending several stock indices to all-time closing highs, as long-term bond interest rates fell and investors jumped back into technology shares. Gains in the technology sector lifted the Nasdaq Composite to a record close of 1,039.30, up 19.83 -- its biggest gain since the 23.54-point rise April 5, 1994. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 22.54 points to close at 4,670.08. The Standard and Poor's 500 stocks rose 5.32 to 569.16. Advancers led decliners 1,499 to 782 on moderate volume of 322 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange. And in London, gold closed down 0.75 to end at $379.75.
