The biggest marketing blitzkrieg in the history of computers is now underway. At midnight,Microsoftwill pull out all the stops in unveiling its soon-to-be ubiquitous Windows 95 operating system. As part of the $200 million promotion, Thursday's London Times will be free for the first time in 200 years (with a Microsoft advertising insert). At the stroke of twelve, the previously inviolate Empire State Building will be lit up in red, green and yellow -- the colors of Windows 95.
