DOW FINISHES THE WEEK DOWN 65.16

The Dow Jones industrial average finished a week-long slide by closing 25.36 points lower at 4,618.30. The S & P also finished the week lower, as the index lost 2.34 points to end at 555.11, for weekly loss of 3.83. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq index added 3.50 points to close at 1,004.11, ending the week up 13.02. And in London, gold finished down $0.50 at $383.75.
