Defying public opinion polls that consistently place him at the bottom in approval ratings,former Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachevsays he may run for president in 1996, the ITAR-Tass news agency reports. Gorbachev, who says he's deeply opposed tothe government of current president Boris Yeltsin, will make his decision after spending time "traveling and meeting Russians."
