James Nichols was ordered freed without bail after a hearing today in Detroit. Federal prosecutors had argued for the first time thatNichols, brother of bombing suspect Terry Nichols, wasconnected to the Oklahoma City bombing. However, U.S. District Judge Paul Borman ordered Nichols released after determining that thegovernment had not presented sufficient evidenceto justify holding him. A little more than a month after the bombing, the remains of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building will be demolished tomorrow in Oklahoma City. Demolition crews say it should only take a few minutes for the little more than 100 pounds of explosives they've placed in the building to bring it down. There is no official word on what will be done with the site, although the General Services Administration has said it will abide with community wishes to erect a memorial there to the bombing victims.
