OH! SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED

A Texas congressman says the Clinton Administration staged the raid on the Branch Davidian compound to gather support for gun control. GOP representative Steve Stockman made the comments in the June issue of "Guns & Ammo" magazine. Stockman first came to national attention in the days immediately following the Oklahoma City bombing when his office reported receiving a fax mentioning a bombing days before the explosion. The congressman's press secretary backed off a bit today, saying Stockman had no conspiracy theories about the raid and had phrased his opinion badly.
