ITO CONTINUING TRIAL ACCELERATION

The cross-examination of criminalist Andrea Mazzola continued today with Judge Lance Ito once again asking the trial be speeded up, but asking that defense attorney Peter Neufeld slow down so that court reporters would have an easier time understanding his Brooklyn accent.Ito continued to pick up the pace, refusing to confer with lawyers at sidebar and giving attorneys a 15 minute time limit to argue legal points. Neufeld continued his examination of Mazzola, once again asserting that Mazzola improperly collected blood evidence, while Mazzola confidently maintained that she had done everything according to how she was taught.
