Rep. Bob Dornan (R-Calif.), the conservative firebrand who launched a bid for the GOP presidential nomination Thursday , isn't going to let his opposition to affirmative action get in the way of quotas. In a CNN interview today, Dornan promised to name his running mate by Christmas and that "that man or woman of course will be conservative, but will most probably be of Jewish heritage or African-American heritage." Tired of senators' frequent appearances on national tickets, the congressman also pledged to select most of his Cabinet secretaries from the House of Representatives if he wins.
