President Clinton filed campaign formation documents with the Federal Election Commission and opened areelection campaignoffice a few blocks from the White House. Clinton is expected to offertop roles in the campaignto political consultant James Carville and pollster Stanley Greenberg, with Carville possibly getting the job of campaign manager and Greenberg sharing the polling duties with the New York firm of Penn & Schoen. Clinton is also expected to designate Terrence McAuliffe, former Democratic National Committee finance director, as the campaign's finance chairman.
