DORNAN ENTERS SWINGING

Saying "we are having a cultural meltdown," California Congressman Bob Dornan officially entered the presidential race. Speaking before about 150 supporters at the National Police Memorial in Washington, D.C., Dornan decried all "the filth on the soap operas and the filth on the talk shows, on all the situational comedies." Dornan wants to use his campaign as a wedge to force the other GOP candidates to focus on conservative social values. He citedGOP front runner Bob Dole's recent comments on values as proof that the threat of Dornan in the White House is having the desired effect. And how does Dornan view his chances? The Congressman says "I'll probably die with my boots on. I'll go down swinging."
