HAMAS PROMISES TO REVENGE BLAST

More than 10,000 supporters of thePalestinian muslim group Hamastook to the streets of Gaza today, vowing "revenge" after an explosion destroyed a secret Hamas bomb factory yesterday, killing six people. Among those killed was Kamal Kahil, a senior commander of Hamas' military. Leaders of the militant group blamed Israel and Yasser Arafat's PLO government for the blast, and threatened torenew their attacks on Israelin retalliation. Both Palestinian and Israeli authorities deny responsibility, while Israel's Foreign Minister Shimon Peres alleges that "Instead of killing other people, those gentlemen killed themselves."
