The Senate today made Kansas Rep. Dan Glickman secretary of agriculture in a 94-0 vote. Glickman succeedsMike Espy, who stepped down last year after revelations that he got favors from firms doing business with the agency. Glickman last year lost his bid for re-election to a 10th House term.
