During a second day and final day cross-examining key Simpson alibi witness Rosa Lopez, prosecutors questioned her eyesight and her memory, and once more suggested that the Simpson defense attorneys had offered to pay for her testimony. Lopez again denied that she had been offered money. When prosecutor Christopher Darden asked her whether she recalled what she did on the day of the double-murder, and at what time, Lopez said, "I don't have to be remembering what I did yesterday. For what?" The former maid of a Simpson neighbor, who is testifying on videotape without the jury present, plans to return to her native El Salvador this weekend.
