Defense alibi witness Rosa Lopez admitted under cross examination that at her initial interview with William Pavelic, a defense investigator, she did not specify the time that she saw O.J. Simpson's white Ford Bronco outside of his estate on the night of the double murders. Lopez at first just said that it was "after 10". When Prosecutor Christopher Darden asked whether it was Pavelic who suggested to her that the time was 10:15 or 10:20, Lopez said, "If that's what he's saying, that's fine." The time is critically important because the prosecution claims that Nicole Simpson and Ron Brown were murdered at 10:15 and that Simpson used the Bronco to drive to and from the murder scene. Lopez also said that she did not remember the time, date or season that she met with Pavelic, just that it was in 1994, and that she has problems remembering time unless she writes it down. The former housekeeper of a Simpson neighbor went on to deny the prosecutor's implication that the defense was scripting her testimony.
