Jurors in theO.J. Simpson casetoday got their first look at a grisly piece of physical evidence, the blood-stained glove found near the bodies of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Prosecutor Marcia Clark also displayed a blue knit watchcap found at the scene. The prosecution claims that the glove matches one later found at O.J. Simpson's compound. During cross-examination of Los Angeles detective Ronald Phillips, who broke the news to O.J. by calling him at his hotel in Chicago, defense attorney Johnnie Cochran elicited testimony that O.J. expressed disbelief at the news and later tried to call Phillips at the police station the morning after the murders. Philips said that Simpson blurted "What do you mean she's been killed?"
