Former president and familiar Nobel Peace Prize bridesmaid Jimmy Carter will have another shot at the high honor this year. Antioch College history professor Irwin Abrams nominated Carter for the fourth time in a row, this time singling out Carter's efforts in Haiti and North Korea. Carter is known to have felt slighted when he was left out of the 1979 award for the Israeli-Egyptian peace accord (Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin shared it).
