DEAVER'S BACK

New York Magazine reported today that former Reagan spinmeister Michael Deaver has been advising Gingrich's staff. The magazine quotes Deaver, who was convicted of perjury in 1987 in connection with an influence-peddling case, as saying he had met with people around Gingrich several times "to strategize."
