Republican landslide or not, President Clinton told reporters today that he intends to seek a second term in 1996. "I'm just going to keep doing the very best job I can and do my very best to say I intend to seek re-election, but that is not uppermost in my mind," Clinton told reporters in the Oval Office. Asked if anything could come up that would keep him from running in 1996, Clinton replied: "No. I have my health, and I'm doing a good job." He brushed aside the possibility that he might be challenged for his party's nomination, saying: "I don't know and I'm not worried about it."
