Tom the turkey will spend the rest of his natural life in Frying Pan Park, now that he's received the traditional Thanksgiving pardon from President Clinton. Though this may not necessarily provide Tom a significantly better situation than he'd face on the Thanksgiving table, the 50-pound bird's new home is actually a replica of a 1930's farm in Chantilly, Va. The dubious fowl tried to hide between two shrubs during today's ceremony. One lucky turkey has been spared each year since Harry Truman began the tradition in 1947.
