Newt Gingrich(R-Ga.) linked the Smith case to the midterm elections this weekend: "I think the mother killing her two children in South Carolina vividly reminds every American how sick the society is getting and how much we have to have change," Gingrich said Saturday on a campaign swing through Georgia.
