With theTailhook scandalbarely off the public radar, the Navy has a new sexual harassment case on its hands. The Naval Training Center in San Diego said yesterday it was investigating allegations from 16 enlisted women. Among the charges: seven instructors demanded sex in exchange for passing grades. In addition, the women say they were victims of verbal harassment and groping during computer training sessions. The allegations cover a period of over a year and a half ending in September. The probe of the instructors -- all of whom served at least six years, "long enough to know better," a spokesman said -- only began after an officer heard about the incidents through a casual conversation with one accuser. BTW: The investigation's been slowed because of the 23 people allegedly involved, only four are still at the school.Post your opinion on theThe Sexesbulletin board.
