Ingrid Duran, the wife of accused gunman Francisco Robert Duran , says her husband had problems with the U.S. government but never would have tried to kill President Clinton. "To take another life is against his principles," she told The Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph in an interview published today. Duran, who's being held without bail on charges of firing 27 bullets at the White House Saturday, may soon be charged with plotting assassination, based on statements from a former co-worker and papers found in his truck.
