After awarding former Navy pilot Paula Coughlin $1.7 million on Friday, a jury late Monday ordered the Las Vegas Hilton to pony up $5 million more in punitive damages. Last week the jury ruled against Hilton for failing to provide adequate security at the1991 Tailhook convention. "I hope this ends the 'she asked for it' defense," said Nancy Stagg, one of Coughlin's lawyers. The Hilton's not off the Tailhook yet: At least 83 women were assaulted or molested at the convention. A dozen more other lawsuits are pending.
