Software Group Backs Microsoft Breakup
The software industry's biggest trade group has endorsed
the breakup of Microsoft if the software giant loses its
antitrust case. The 40-page report sent to government
lawyers comes despite Microsoft's active membership in the
Software and Information Industry Association (formerly --
and better known as -- Software Publishers Association).
