It used to be -- and maybe it still is -- that making computer games for a living was every adolescents dream, at least among the pocket protector crowd. Sleep all day, play with Nerf toys all night, drink Mountain Dew -- what could be better? And computer games are selling better than ever -- in 1997, they generated $5.6 billion in revenues.
