Judge Lance Ito dismissed attempts by O.J. Simpson attorneys to suppress evidence and testimony in the Simpson case, another setback in a line of setbacks for the defense team. Defense attorney Gerald Uelmen said DNA tests done on blood found on O.J.'s driveway invaded his client's privacy. Uelmen claimed police should have obtained a search warrant before collecting the samples. Ito called the argument "interesting and novel" -- but unsupported by law.
