Many of the victims were dressed in ceremonial robes; the heads of some were covered with plastic garbage bags and had bullet wounds in them. About half the bodies were found in the village of Cheiry, among the charred remains of a farmhouse, rigged to be blown up by propane canisters using a telephone trigger, reported Kroon, who visited the scene. While there was no explosion, the structure was set on fire around midnight last night. The other victims were found in three chalets 50 miles away.
