Daughters of women who smoked during pregnancy may become biologically predisposed to the nicotine habit, a new study suggests. Sons are not similarly affected, states the study, which was conducted by Columbia University scientists. This is the first time a link has been found between children's tendency to smoke and prenatal exposure.
