ROSTY CAN BREATHE A LITTLE EASIER

The House Ethics Committee voted yesterday to defer an inquiry into the alleged wrongdoing of Rep Dan Rostenkowski (D-Ill.) at the House Post Office. Republicans in Congress had asked the Ethics Committee to probe Rostenkowski, but federal prosecutors said that this would interefere with their ongoing investigation of him.
