WHITEWATER . . . HANSON QUITS

Fallout from the Congressional hearings surrounding the Clintons' real-estate-deal-gone-sour has claimed another official: Treasury Counsel Jean Hanson, who resigned. Hanson's departure followed that of her boss, Roger Altman, who quit yesterday. Hanson's credibility was questioned when it appeared she had misled Congress in previous testimony.
