Hulond Humphries, the principal of racially troubled Randolph County High School in Wedowee, Ala., is in more hot water. Already under fire for trying to ban interracial couples from the spring prom, Humphries is accused of aiding in the assault of a black TV news cameraman who tried to film on school grounds after a suspicious fire gutted the building Saturday. Meanwhile, the FBI and U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have joined a local fire investigation and may launch a civil rights probe if arson is confirmed.
