BREYER'S BENCH GETTING WARM

Surprise! Supreme Court nominee Stephen Breyer sailed through the Senate Judiciary Committee, whose 10 Democrats and eight Republicans voted unanimously to send the Boston moderate to the bench. Breyer watchers say the full Senate will rubber-stamp him as soon as Friday.
