Cheap Slate: In Today's 'In Today's Papers'
Hardly a whiff of scandal this morning. Slate's
Scott Shuger ledes with the lede of choice for WP and NYT: The world's
oil producers are cutting back to boost prices. The WSJ says the group,
with both OPEC and non-OPEC nations on board, boasts "unusual
solidarity." USAT goes with a State Dept. brush with hackers last fall,
and LAT catches up with its home-state Democratic gubernatorial
candidates. S's SS also brings us the scandal joke of the day, from
Clinton's own lips and OK'd by WH lawyers: "Knock Knock." "Don't
answer that."
