Mohamed Al Fayed, in an exclusive interview with London's Mirror, says the Paris car crash that killed Princess Diana and his son Dodi was not an accident. "I believe in my heart 99.9 percent that it was not an accident. That car didn't accidentally crash. There was a conspiracy, and I will not rest until I have established exactly what happened," he told the tabloid. Al Fayed offered no evidence to support his view but said he has "great confidence in the investigators in Paris, and I believe that we will find the truth." He also confirmed that Diana and Dodi were engaged to be married and said that Diana's dying words were that she wanted all her possessions, including her jewelry, to go to her sister Sarah, "and please tell her to take care of my boys." Al Fayed, who owns Harrods department store in London and the Ritz Hotel in Paris, said the British establishment was happy "to try to ridicule me, and I believe that many of them are happy that Diana and Dodi were killed." A spokesman for Princess Diana's office said "this continued speculation is both unhelpful and upsetting to the family."
