Not only has Rebagliati seen his Olympic achievement go up in smoke, he also faces an interview with Japanese police Thursday. Possession of marijuana is illegal in Japan. But the IOC was deeply divided over the issue: The small traces of marijuana found in the athlete's bloodstream led to its medical commission voting 13-12 to recommend disqualifying Rebagliati, and the governing body voted 3-2 with two abstentions. And, not surprisingly, the IOC's decision has left the hemp-friendly snowboarding community all fired up.
