The latest book to expose a Kennedy involves the stylish former First Lady. Christopher Andersen's "Jackie After Jack: Portrait of a First Lady" hits stores this week and is excerpted in the new New York magazine. Among the revelations: Jackie loved to read gossip, especially about herself; she had an affair with Frank Sinatra; she broke off her friendship with Michael Jackson (whose book she published) when charges of child molestation against him began to surface; she offered Camilla Parker Bowles $2 million to write the story of her affair with Prince Charles; she also tried to get Diana -- whom Jackie initially admired until Diana went public with her marital woes -- to write a book, a proposition Buckingham Palace rejected; and she believed her son, John, was the family's future.

Did Dodi Leave an Heir?
Under a banner headline asking "IS THIS DODI'S SECRET BABY?," London's Evening Standard makes the case that Englishwoman Diane Holliday, 36, gave birth 15 months ago to Dodi Fayed's love child, the result of her five-month affair with the Harrod's heir before he began his romance with Princess Diana. Dodi's father, Mohamed Al Fayed, has "denounced her claims," says the Standard. Holliday's reply: "I have a DNA test to prove it and Mohamed Fayed knows this full well." Scotland Yard is said to be investigating. The baby girl, named Marni, has been adopted by a childless Philadelphia couple. Lawyers, the paper say, "are considering making a claim on Dodi's multimillion-pound estate on behalf of Marni."

In related news, in a new book by TIME magazine staffers Scott MacLeod and Thomas Sancton, "Death of a Princess: The Investigation" claims Dodi and Diana planned to be married.
