Friends Indeed?

Now President Clinton finds out who his friends really are. According to CNN, more than a dozen Clinton associates say they believe he did, in fact, have a sexual relationship with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky. They do not believe, however, that the President and his friend Vernon Jordan attempted to cover up the alleged relationship. Meanwhile, a witness has surfaced claiming to have seen Clinton and Lewinsky involved in sexual acts in the Oval Office, CNN reports. As the president continues to maintain his silence, his public opinion ratings plummet. According to one aide, "It's a meltdown." Perhaps the First Lady will help: Hillary Clinton, described as being in "battle mode," is set to do a talk-show circuit in New York City tomorrow.
