The first results from an ambitious Lyme-disease study suggest a test vaccine may help boost would-be victims' immune responses. Findings are inconclusive, researchers warn, but the initial results to be released tomorrow show that almost all 24 participants in one group saw their Lyme-disease antibodies rise without negative side effects. About 10,000 people suffer from the tick-spread ailment every year.
