Things you probably didn't know unless you were following the Terry Nichols trial, which featured this testimony from former Timothy McVeigh co-worker Andrea Peters:

  • Prior to his arrest, McVeigh never had a girlfriend and often spent his Saturday nights playing designated-driver-for-hire for drunk friends at bars.

  • The Christmas before the bombing, McVeigh sent a letter to Peters offering her:

    1)A shoulder to cry on;
    2)"Fertilization from good stock if that (biological) clock starts ticking"; and
    3)His help blowing up anyone she wanted.
