Tom Peters' forecast of an online, Web-based, white-collar workplace [VISIONS 21, May 22] was very chilling indeed. His feverish embrace of extreme individuality, free-market pursuit and constant self-improvement completely drowns out any inclination for people to think about others who are less fortunate.
