Nostalgia, Alt-Style

It's not unusual for older bands to come out of hiding to play the occasional summer concert, but this year the nostalgia fest is aimed at a younger and hipper crowd. Reunited veterans of alternative-rock groups are touring and headlining music festivals like the recently reinvigorated Lollapalooza. Among the alt-rock retreads back this summer: Morrissey, whose first album in seven years, You Are the Quarry, came out in May, along with the Cure (the ever evolving rock band, above) and more.
