FAREWELL, JOHN

The reason many of us are so distraught about the tragic death of John F. Kennedy Jr. is not his name and good looks [JOHN F. KENNEDY JR. 1960-1999, Aug. 2] but the incompleteness of President Kennedy's term in office. Invested in J.F.K. Jr. were many of the ideas, prayers and dreams for America that were connected with his father. Deep down inside, while J.F.K.
